I think its harder to sell someone what essentially is a track toy. I would try to get some carpet back in the car and slowly make it more of a "street car" It will appeal to a larger audience

Thanks for the advice. For anyone interested as well as general FYI, I still have the majority of the interior parts for this car still as well as power steering and all that good stuff so if someone wanted they can take it in whatever direction they see fit. I can go further in depth on that with anyone who has interest in the car. Thanks for bringing that up 2mAn.

yes this. been looking for a nice swap or modded e30 and its hard to justify spending the coin for something that needs the basics like heater/dash/hvac/radio stuff all put back together.

Zcenterb I was going to PM you a while ago and offer advice, but others have already chimed in.

I just sold an even more extreme version of the type of E30 you listed. Some of the highest quality parts that can be purchased in many regards.

It absolutely destroyed the value of my car. Over 17k in receipts (thats all just goods, I did the labor myself) and it sold for much less than half of that. It sold for dirt cheap. It hurt. A lot.

Not saying you should lower your price, but I just wanted to lend some recent, similar situation experience to you. If you are intent on selling it, its going to hurt. That I can promise.

Thanks for the advice guys, i understand it will be a painful sale both financially and emotionally after such a process. I am in no hurry to sell it, but I am motivated should people show interest. And as far as "putting it back together", I am more than happy to do that for someone if they want it done, but the car is at such a good driving pure fun and joy state that I don't want to just to make it possibly more appealing. I prefer the car the way it is, and I understand others may not feel the same way, but again I can work with a serious buyer to their hearts content as far as "putting it back together". Im not making money here like you say, I just purely want the car to go to a good home if/when it sells.
