This was my mistake. I was so comfortable with the seller after our conversation, messages and the signed form he sent to me, that I felt confident enough to provide feedback before even receiving the car, thinking I'll just change it if it wasn't worthy. Little did I know that feedback cannot be changed from positive to negative, only the other way around. I have an email conversation going back and forth with ebay support since yesterday to try to get this changed.

@DELPHINtimecapsule, your first response to this was "uh oh" and then changed after you looked up the feedback. If you have any info to share, please do so (or PM me).
You can't change it to negative but you can add responses. I'd add he was deceptive and the car was trash.

Whose number is this? The number I have for him and communicated on during the buying process was totally different, but legit (if you google it, items matching his name apparently come up).

Thanks. eBay support emailed me back earlier today and said to do the same thing.

Sorry this thread went so off-topic. Now, can we see some clean e30s for sale??? Or have we scared everyone off? Lol.

There is a very clean (looking) 153k mi '93 cabrio on offerup Phoenix (no conection)
If it is really a '93 5speed it's the only one made.

              Thanks but:

              1) I'm into coupes only
              2) I would never buy a car with such a limited description

There are several in there with significantly less info in there and on Phoenix CL.

                Some don't have pictures.

                lol

So I placed multiple bids on this auction today and lost out because my browser decided to crash. One more bid and I think it could have been mine.

Bid for the chance to own a 1991 BMW 318is at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #4,382.

This car was for sale on the Phoenix clist for weeks at 8.8k

If you were really in a bidding war last minute on BaT you missed out.

Looks like 1 was actually manufactured in 1993 but several hundred were still manufactured at the end of 1992 that were considered 1993 models.
