Up for sale is my 1992 BMW E30 318i convertible 5 speed stick shift.
VIN# WBABA7316NEJ13171. I purchased this car in October 2015 and have since invested thousands into it. 130,000 original documented miles with working Motometer odometer. Straight body, accident free E30 with all matching VIN's. Clean title Bay Area car with zero rust. Original Alpine white paint is in superb condition. Car was garaged the majority of its life (The second owner from Palo Alto who owned car for 17 years garaged it for duration of her ownership). Car was just smogged Thursday, 5/25. Tags are current up to February of 2018. This is a very well sorted and mechanically sound, turnkey classic ready to be driven long distances. You will be hard-pressed to find an E30 in this good of shape from both a mechanical and cosmetic standpoint. During my ownership I drove it to Mendocino, Yosemite, and Santa Barbara all with zero issues. All work during my ownership was performed at BMW of San Rafael using all OEM parts. If you are looking for a budget project E30, this is not the car for you. If you are looking for a problem free E30 to just get in and drive down the coast, take to Napa Valley, or simply a solid daily driver, this is better suited. My reason for selling, I just leased a 2017 BMW 4-series. Would love to hold onto it but I do not have the space or money for two vehicles. This was a very fun minor restoration project, but it's time to see her go to a good new home. Car is 100% stock mechanically and cosmetically other than the sound system. I have the original BMW head unit which I will include. I have all the service records on the car going back to 1996.
Carfax available upon request.
