1987 BMW 325is, Delphin with black interior
I’ve owned this car for almost 9 years. It has been a great car to me and up until recently was my daily. It has a clean title. I’ve touched just about every bolt on this car at one time or another. The car had a broken odometer when I first got it at 154k. Since fixing the gears shortly after getting the car It is around 190k. I’m guessing the chassis is somewhere north of 200s. I swapped in a Pete McHenry M20B30 motor I picked up in December of 2015. Prior to putting the new motor in I freshened up gaskets, did a valve adjustment, timing belt, water pump, installed an oil pan baffle, installed new flywheel/clutch/pressure plate, resealed the transmission, and replaced an assort of different bits and bobs on it. Below are details on the motor.
"It has been bored and stroked to 2952cc. The compression is 10.2:1. It has forged ultra light pistions, tool steel thin-wall pins, and low drag rings. The stroker crank is a reworked forged steel unit from a late M3. All bearings, seals, waterpump, cam drive, etc are new. The cylinder head has mild porting and is fitted with a Schrick 284/272 dual pattern cam and dual valve springs. Valve guides and seals were all replaced with new. As previously noted, the extreme stroker (7/16") makes use of oil ring support rails because there is little room left above the pin for all 3 rings. This design doesn't hurt power, but it results in higher oil consumption.”
I have a stack of receipts from my ownership that will be included in the sale. Below are highlights of the car.
