It will, this is one of the strongest 328's that my old boss has driven. Him stating that it will voids anything that you say. If you know anything about BMW's then the name Leo Franchi should ring a bell.

Strong for a 328, weak for an m3.

Strong enough for a man, but pH balanced for a woman.

Well, with an M50 manifold and S5x cams, the 328 is a close match to an M3. In a straight line. Peak hp is similar, but the area under the curve is less. So if you were to repetitively race around a track, the M3 will edge the 328.

That's a good deal for a 328 that is pretty well equipped with some sweet aftermarket mods.

Googling Leo Franchi, it seems he's the owner of Midwest Motorsports, and raced the E30 M3 when it first came to the US. Cool.

Yeah, but I didnt think they were that low.

That would be a gritty drive home with a 4.10/4.11. You'd be at 4500 rpm at 80mph. Even though the E36 does have better soundproofing than the E30, that would get annoying fast, especially with an aftermarket exhaust like the UUC System U.

I could have sworn the auto M3s came with 3.91 rear ends.

                          sounds like a good deal.

is it in chicago or denver?

My '95 Lux came with the 3.23 .

I was also thinking that the 4.11 seemed awfully low for an E36 ....especially an M3 .

Either way the car seems decent enough ...I just would not go around touting it as an M3 beater .

                            E30 M3 / E30 325is / E34 525iT / E34 535i

I drove it at gingerman raceway against a stock 95 m3 and Im not sure if the guy just sucked at driving but my lap times were much faster than his. Im not positive if they are 4.11's but they did come out of an automatic m3. The car is located in Denver. The reason that the car is priced low is because it does not have a clean title. It was hit in the drivers side, but I have owned it for three years and seems ok. I get even tire wear and it drives straight. The car could use a repaint though. The sand up in the mountains does take a toll.
