    89 s52 swapped 325i coupe SOLD

    1989 Cirrusblau 325i Coupe
    202k on chassis

Car was originally purchased by my son and I in May of 2017 from Seattle WA. We flew out and drove it back to ohio

Had an issue where it wouldn’t start once we arrived back home and I took it to Flitzen Factory in Richfield OH to have it looked at I was enamored with the capability of their builds and decided promptly that instead of troubleshooting the no start issue we were going to go full steam ahead with an S52 swap.

This started with a fully rebuilt s52 (now there are roughly 5000 mi since rebuild on the engine)

Flitzen Factory did all of the heavy lifting on the engine swap, including all fabrication of exhaust, brake booster relocation, subframe reinforcements, etc.

It took most of that summer and part of the fall before the first startup commenced.

I then spent all of 2018 buttoning up the bolt on side of the equation where no expense was spared and all of the “right” parts were selected as you can see below.

GLWS. Keeping an eye on this one. The market for super-clean swapped cars was on fire last year. I've been casually listing mine for sale, but may get more serious about selling soon. Interested to see how your sale goes.

          Thanks

If it weren’t for college bills for my daughter I’d be keeping

I have seen this car at the Vintage. Amazing super clean car and great guy. Good luck with the sale.

If this had been last summer and I hadn't bought the S54DOOR, this car would have been sold already.
