    FS: 89 325i 52K ORIGINAL MILES *******

    *********** SOLD! ****************

Well, I bought this E30 less than a month ago:

("Selling 4 door 1989 325i with only 51,000 original miles. Car is spotless inside and out. Rear seat VERY rarely used. BMW recall on motor done at 15K and entire engine replaced. 5 speed, Power Windows, moonroof, power steering, etc. Always garaged and well maintained.")

... drove it rather frequently. I must say my seller was spot on about the condition of the car in general, especially the engine. It truly pulls strongly, and a complete dream above 3000 rpm.

Car is located in ZIP Code 90813 (Southern California).

Why am I selling? Because I'm way too tall of a guy for it. I'm 6'3" (some would argue I'm 6'4") and there's absolutely no way, even after sport seat installation, that I can add a helmet and still have head clearance. Plus, my back is starting to kill me.

Seller gave me all his service records. Two pre-purchase inspections were performed on the car (one by All German Auto in San Diego, another by European Motor Works in Arcadia, CA), passing with virtually flying colors. According to records, engine was replaced due to bad head bolt causing all sorts of trouble.

If my seller, reganm3, is reading this, I hope you don't mind, but I'll "borrow" the photos from your photobucket profile until you tell me not to.

Without further ado, here are the pics, which can't be more than 2-3 months old:

Asking $6,250. Contact me via PM, or hlee(at]ibcw{dot}net, or 714-679-1345.

If only you were on this side of the country. I'd thoroughly consider selling my project car and picking that up. What a great starting platform, I hate seeing deals like this.

It's a sweet ride. This is reason #234948 why I wish I was just a couple inches shorter...

Interested in a 94 Land Cruiser? No headroom shortage there.

Can you please explain "virtually flying colors"?

            Thanks...

I wish there was some way to get this to New Hampshire. I just love this car. Good luck with the sale. The new owner is one lucky sob.

"Virtually flying" means stuff like timing belt / water pump, etc. are probably due for change soon.

The car is in awesome shape as it is. It isn't perfect-- then again, it's 17 years old. But for a 17 year old car, it's in immaculate shape.

Also, for those already showing interest in the car: I'm out of town until this coming Wednesday (11/8). I'm reachable for the time being, including via PM / email. I'm simply unable to show the car until Wednesday.

If I didn't mind SUV's-- I actually would consider! Unfortunately, I drive / corner too fast to have an SUV...
