TW: 1989 325i in Columbus, OH

Ok, I am contemplating selling my car. I purchased it back in April of this year off from an ASE Certified Tech in Cleveland, Ohio. The engine was freshly rebuilt by him and a certified BMW technician about 10,000 miles ago and it runs very well. I have done nothing but maintain it since I've purchased it so I am going to basically copy the old for sale post from the other seller. Right now the only things wrong with it are a bad alignment, which I plan on getting fixed this week, and the heater works intermittently. I just replaced the blower motor and it worked for a day or two and now it only comes on every so often. I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with it. I have replaced the switch, the fuses, and the blower motor and nothing has gotten it to work constantly.

If I do sell it I'd be asking around $4000 for it as I paid $4500 when I purchased it.

    Here are the stats.

    Vitals:
    5 speed
    2 door
~175,000 original miles (It is now at 185,000)
    3.73 open differential
    Black exterior
    Black leather interior
    Sunroof
Passed Ohio E-Check in September '05 after all the work was completed

    Work performed by previous owner:
    All new seals/gaskets in engine
    3 angle valve job
    Piston rings
    Oil pump
    Bosch updated design fuel injectors
    Fuel filter
Fuel Pump (OEM dealer part. Not cheapy aftermarket)
    Rocker shafts and arms
    Valve springs
    Water pump
    All new coolant hoses
    Timing belt
    OEM BMW Bosch spark plugs
    Driveshaft guibo
    Driveshaft center bearing
Tranny input, output, and selector seals
Clutch, slave cylinder, bearings, slave cylinder hydraulic hose
    Ground flywheel
    Reman. steering rack
    Outer tie rods
    Reman OE Front Calipers
    Rebuilt rear calipers
New pads, and rotors all around
    Stainless Steel D.O.T. brake lines
BimmerWorld Wheel studs, chrome lugnuts, wheel locks (no more pesky wheel bolts)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 15x7 wheels
Z3 1.9 short shifter and all new bushings/hardware
Momo Mod 78 black suede steering wheel with genuine Momo horn button and hub adapter (not pictured)
    Keyless Entry with 2 Remotes
    New windshield

    Problems/Downfalls:
Minor rust on bottom of passenger fender (It's been in Northern Ohio for 17yrs. I'd say its above average for rust from other E30's I've seen around.)
Original black paint shows it's age
One of the original speakers in the front is busted
    Hairline fracture in right highbeam
A/C system was removed by previous owner
Driver's door lock sometimes doesn't operate power locks. - I hear it is common on E30's. Remedied with keyless entry.

    Plusses:
Interior is nearly immaculate for a 17yr old car. Seats are in good condition.
    No cracks in the dash.
Car has NEVER seen a body shop
Lots of little spare parts (Alternator, Filters, bulbs, fluids, hardware, brake parts, seals, etc.)
Entire exhaust system including cat is only 3yrs old.

Here are some pictures of her.

I will probably end up keeping the wheel and shift knob for my next car, I could be talked into letting them stay with the car though.

Here are the pictures the previous owner sent to me when I purchased the car.

Let me know what you guy's think.

It's a Momo Mod 78 black suede steering wheel. Chances are I will be keeping the wheel and knob for my new car however.

I forgot to mention I have the original basketweaves with shot tires and a box full of stuff for the car. Including the reset tool and other misc things.

That is a vinyl interior, not leather.

        Good luck with the sale.

Good looking out, it is fixed. Like I said, I copied most of the list from the old for sale thread I must have missed that.

I am entertaining offers as well so don't hesitate to put out a REASONABLE offer.

          Thanks guy's.
