I am transferring to the Chicago office of the company I work for, so, I need to sell my car. Currently, it resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.
1990 325is with 176000 miles on the odometer. I bought the car a year ago in the hopes of autocrossing, but, I was always to busy with work to ever make it to a race. All the upgrades that have been made only have 2-3000 miles on them because I rarely drove the car. Here is a list:
Bilstein Sport struts with Eibach sport springs
PRB brakes all around
New controls arms with new ball joints
M3 offset bushings (very important to chassis geometry)
K&N Intake
B&M Short shifter
OEM cat-back exhaust (FAP)
16" Konig GT-R wheels with Kumho tires
15" Flik Blast wheels with Falken Azenis (Almost brand new)
Momo Short Anatomic black leather shift knob
Bride silver aluminum steering wheel mated to a Momo hub
(have OEM BMW airbag steering wheel too)
Shadow grill (original chrome kidney grill included too)
H4 headlights & H1 high-beams (Euro-specification for this car)
Highbeams are covered in french fog yellow Lamin-X
Way old school Sony tape deck with CD changer in the trunk
Overall mechanical condition is great. Car runs extremely well and everything works well. I had the valves adjusted and the coolant system flushed this year. New plugs were installed at the same time. Clutch feels good and transmission shifts well too. Always starts and runs at a proper temperature. AC will probably need to be charged when Summer comes and I will include a couple cans of charge.
Cosmetically the car is average. There is no rust, but the paint has spent years going through automatic car washes. It looks good from 5 feet, but, isn't perfect up close. There are a few little door dings as well, but, nothing major. Drivers front fender has been resprayed, but, not fully. It looks as though the paint on the lip had chipped and that is why that area was resprayed.
The interior has the factory leather Recaro sport seats and the driver's seat has the usual bolster rips. I had planned to get to all the cosmetics, including the rips, after the mechanicals were resolved, but, the transfer means it won't happen. There is a small crack in the dash as well (1.5") at the parcel tray. The driver's door lock tumbler is inoperable as well, but, that's a very common E30 thing. It could be fixed, or, the trunk tumbler unlocks all the doors too.
Okay, I am moving to Chicago and we are only keeping one car. So, I need this car out of here by January.
I am asking 3500.00 with both sets of wheels.
I am totally losing at this price, but, I don't have a choice. This car has the hard stuff done already, so, it's perfect for someone to enjoy, or, take to the next level with a turbo, etc. An "is" is great too because it already comes with a factory LSD and other goodies.
PM or post any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks.
These photos are a little older and I will take some new ones as soon as I can.
