Buyer beware -- "Dex" and I had a deal for me to buy the wheels seen on the car and now he's reneging; giving me the not-so-subtle "brush-off" now that he has decided to sell the whole car (wheels included).
In short, I was to trade my stock wheels + cash for the Keskins pictured above and I made travel arrangements to stop in Charlotte, where he's located, to do the swap. We made this agreement over a week ago and then a couple days ago he sends me an email that says:
"Steve,
Change in plans. I'm putting the car up for sale, and need to hold on to the wheels. Sorry, and thanks for your interest. If there's anything else you see that you might be interested in, just let me know.
-Scott"
Suddenly the guy who was once quick with email correspondence is non-responsive when I ask him to honor our agreement. (I sent this request Tuesday evening and he has yet to get back to me as of writing this.) I took the time to alter travel arrangements to meet friends & family during an upcoming roadtrip and all this guy has to say is "If there's anything else you see that you might be interested in, just let me know"? What a joke! He should know what I want -- since I made a deal to buy it already!!
It is poor form, plain and simple, and I felt others should be aware of it. Proper enthusiasts do not engage in such nonsense.
Cheers,

Now you're forum chasing me? Mature, Asshole.
Nice thread crap Steven. We never had a deal. Fitment was never verified, money never changed hands, and I never gave you my address. I never asked you to change your plans; you offered.
How about you post the email where I said we had a deal? Can you dig that up? No.
Now, you act like a child, and because you can't get what you want, you mean to do me harm by shitting in my thread. All this, after I answered all your PMs and email questions.
Thanks. You are truly the enthusiast.
"Proper enthusiasts do not engage in such nonsense."
Poor form, indeed.
MOD, can I get a lock please?

Steve,
Re: deal; $600 + your 14s
That sounds pretty reasonable, especially considering neither one of us will have to ship anything.
Re: Will the Keskins accept OE lug bolts?
I'm just not sure since I've never needed to fit them myself, but I'd have to think 'Yes' since the stud kit is a Turner kit, that fits the OEM hubs, and the wheels fit them just fine.
I've also seem them mounted on other BMWs with no mention of anything special for fitment.
From where will you be driving? In about a month, I'll be moving to *edited for privacy*, if that's any closer to you.

The bold text is exactly as in the original email from Dex. I simply edited email addresses and location information out of respect for privacy.
Call me what you will. I am simply relaying the facts as they took place so that others may make informed decisions. I have made the facts known and will do nothing more to interrupt your advertisements.
Cheers,
Steve-Steven
