in all fairness 2k is not twice it. i'd say 2-3k is about right. i've seen and been in it, its clean, no rust and interior is very nice. granted its got shitty headlights and ugly windsheild molding strips, but its not a 1k base car.

also if you can find me a good condition supercharged s52 motor for 3k then show me because i will buy it. nevermind the labor cost or time spent putting it in the car. now whether or not azevedo does good work...

Doesn't look like such a bad car. At least there's no visible rust and all of the body panels are the same color. It does seem to take a "Chip Foose" level of quality for an E30 to break $9K.

Worth or What you would pay for a clean early chassis? That's the differance most forget, that when it comes to selling to enthusiast crowd we here are cheap and will haggle.

Now everyone salivated over the 7.5k stock Zinno on Cars.com last month and it had obvious mistakes in the listing. So 10K if it's not a piece is not an unfair asking price. I have seen Bill 84 318's car and it had issues but it's quick and was loud. Not as fast as his Scobby Evo but quick. It was also in a poor state of tune at the time.

I agree, Labor was most likely most of the bill for the build on this car $100 an hour adds up quick, plus parts. He doesn't want to give the car away.

            Best bet Ebay it.
