I'd give him $8,000 and that's being generous. I don't understand why people sell these things for so much. I know they want to try and recoup the costs of having it imported but seriously.
If they can get their asking price because of the rarity factor then so be it. They go for 5-8K in Canada. If it costs you more than that to federalize it for the US then you need to re-evaluate your priorities, especially if you don't intend to keep it.
I would love a touring, but not when someone is charging 8 times the KBB of my own car.

same thing i was thinking. never saw a 324td in macau or with the design edition interior. wasn't Macau a later production color?
when did they stop production on the diesels? 90?
