    2 E30 ITS/KP/GTS race cars for sale

I have not one, but 2 E30 race cars for sale. Both are the same except for the vinyl wraps. Both are built to SCCA ITS specs (can be run in BMW club in the KP class or in NASA GTS- guessing GTS2 or maybe GTS1). Both were finished out by Bimmerworld. They have Stack dashes, wired for radios, etc etc etc. I was told they are built to the limits of ITS specs. I was also told they are putting out ~160 RWHP. Each car come with one extra set of rims. Both are covered in vinyls wraps and are white under the vinyl. Located in Tyler, TX (about 2 hours east of Dallas). I can arrange a test weekend for potential purchasers on a mutually agreeable weekend at Eagle's Canyon Raceway in Slidell, TX (NW of Dallas)- nonrefundable deposit required. $20k each.

you might want to provide a little more detail on the cars if you are asking 20k each

they look pretty cool, but what is the rattle canned floor hiding? Rust i'm assuming (I know, assumptions are dangerous) and was it really necessary to paint the brake and clutch pedals? Also what suspension are they running?

I need to get them up on the lift this week and check. Don't think I would assume rust. Appears all compartnments were painted prior to assembly. And, yes, it wouldn't have been too hard to remove the rubber pedal covers before painting!

Can you replacate one for less? They look like well prep'd cars to me.

Definately post more info on them when you can. Good luck :-D

Thanks. your reply is better than mine. I'll remember that for next time. :-)

I'll get them up on the lift this week, but it might be later in the week.

Got under the Funtime car tonight...here's what I found.

Car was started to be built by Bobby Bitterman in Birmingham, AL, but was finished by Bimmerworld. Engine was supposedly built to ITS spec limits and I was told puts out 162 RWHP.

                    Oil cooler
                    yellow engine mounts (brand?)
                    new-ish looking radiator and alternator
                    Stahl headers
                    straight pipes (side exhaust)
                    new-ish looking guibo
                    new-ish not stock plug wires
                    adjustable FPR
engine hour meter (3.7 hours running time since engine rebuild)

                    brake ducts with backing plates
                    RD front sway bar
                    no rear bar
Koni DA coilovers...unknown spring rates (I might have them in some setup sheets.
                    SS brake lines
Appears to have E30 M3 offset CABs
trailing arm bushings look new-ish but unknown what they are
                    Powerflex rear subframe bushings
                    brake discs appear new-ish
                    front strut brace

Recaro Pole Position seat (date 8/05)
G force belts (good thru '11)
G froce side net (date 8/06)
Team tech center net (unknown date)
                    Longacre quick disconnect steering wheel
                    brake bias adjuster
                    wired for radio
                    Fire extinguisher
                    Optima red top battery

some rust in the driver floor board. isn't too bad, but might want to be addressed
front subframe has NOT been reinforced
                    AMB transponder
                    battery kill switch
                    STACK dash

Again, I have the SCCA and BMW CCA log books.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.
