Feeler: '91 318i Alpine II 4dr. on Grey Cloth

Possibly for sale is my DD, which has been dead reliable for the last 4500 Miles that I have driven it, including a trip up to New Hampshire and back. I recently replaced a bunch of stuff that I will list:

Parts with approx. 20K Miles on them:
    BavAuto springs
    Bilstein Tourings
    Rebuilt Steering Rack
    Offset CAB's
    Control Arms
    Tie Rods
    Front Rotors
    Front Pads

Parts with approx. 4500K Miles on them:
    Clutch
    Z3 3.0 Shift Lever
    Subframe Bushings
    Urethane Trailing Arm Bushings
Turner Motorsports Aluminum Rear Shock Mounts
    Rear Cross-Drilled Rotors
    Rear Pads

    Stuff the P.O. did:
    Timing Chain Tensioner
    Alternator
    Shadowline Trim
    Blacked out Kidney
    "i" front lip
    "is" rear spoiler
Volt Gauge Replacing the 6-button OBC

    Stuff I added/did:
All Red Taillights w/ smoked reverse light
    Ellipsoids w/ Smoked Lamin-X Film
    Smoked Front Side Markers
VW Mk2 GTI/GLI Driver's side Recaro (matches the grey cloth pretty well)
    Grey Leather Passenger Seat
    Small Case 4.10LSD
Other random shit I can't remember

    Issues:
ABS Light (One of the sensors is malfunctioning since it only happens around 10-15mph)
Brake Pad Light (again, sensor issue)
Driveline noise at take-off (pretty sure it's the U-Joints making noise)
Small rust bubble on the Driver's side door
Rust on the passenger's side rear valence (they all do that)
Right taillight leaks into the trunk slightly

Anyways, the only reason I am considering selling is that there is another E28 that I semi-want, so this may have to go. It is honestly a great car, and that's why I'm not sure I want to let it go in the first place. Royal Purple Synthetic in the Diff and Tranny. Tranny is really tight for having 223K miles on it.

Will not include the Euroweaves with Falken 225/50/15's, the M-tech 2 wheel, or Clarion Head Unit.

Will include Matching Passenger Recaro that you'd have to make a bracket to fit properly.

If anyone is local and wants to drive it or shoot the shit, let me know.
$2500 obo Price is slightly flexible.

Onto the pictures, which yes I know are terrible so don't criticize too badly.

    Thanks,
    Ben

I get 26mpg in mixed driving, and I drive like an asshole.

                Bump, price lowered to $2500

I forgot to mention that there is a rust hole in the battery box, probably about 1.5"x4". The front valence has a slight crease on either side and would need to be fixed. Also blows a little bit of blue smoke when not warmed up, but still drives fine. Maybe a little bit of an idle hunt.

Forgot to mention that there is a set of 22/16mm Red Eibach Sways and matching 3pc. Eibach Front Strut Bar currently on the car.

Currently sitting on the Original 14" Steelies w/ 185/70/14 studded snows & original hubcaps.

The brackets are also custom made aluminum brackets and universal sliders for the driver's Recaro seat, so it sits down much lower. I will also install the passenger side Recaro seat with the adapter from HMS.

I will also trade for an '87 325is in Red, Black or white in equal condition. The more local, the better.

                Thanks,
                Ben

Edit - Car currently has 228K, and I have a good amount of records including the original window sticker. Paint is in not so great shape with plenty of small dings.

Now, lets get closer pictures of it.

In the hood and interior would be nice.

Ok, would really like to move this soon.

$2250 firm and I will include an M-Technic I wheel, Smoked Hella Ellipsoids (done by mikeedler), and an older Nakamichi CD-75 CD Player w/out the harness adapter.

I also have all the paperwork from the original owner, including the window sticker. I am the 3rd owner.

Please PM or email at benjamin.mcgalliard at gmail.com

                      Thanks.

P.S. I will get some shots of the engine bay, interior, and underbody up tomorrow night. Anyone interested is also welcome to inspect it under my lift.

And here are the pictures. I haven't even driven it this winter. Just fixed the ABS too. Driver's side front sensor wires disintegrated by rubbing against the strut. Here are the creases in the front valence, then the rust bubble, then the spot in the battery box/rear valence.

Underbody shots will come tomorrow since my camera ran out of batteries right before I could take them tonight.

                        Thanks.
