    FS: '93 E34 M5 in SD

    VIN: WBSHD9313PBK06436

Originally sold by Century BMW in Alhambra CA, always a SOCal Bimmer. I have all records going back to 5/93. It currently has about 143k miles. Interior is light gray.

A few big tickets for the last few years:

11/06 @ 137k miles: Complete coolant system overhaul including all seals and gaskets. $2332
    2/04 @ 128k miles: Tune up. $640
8/07 @ 139k miles: New brakes, new polyurethane control arm bushings. $889

I was just going through my old paper work and I looked at 5 E34 M5's before buying this one. If I didn't have to sell it.

    A few more tidbits:
    - 1993 US spec M5's produced: 250
    - Lagun Green was only a US color and no other country received it. I met a previous sales guy who actually remembered the car from the dealership he worked at. As it turns out this is 1 of 4 in the US. Hence one of four in the entire world. (except BMW Individual custom builds where customers could specify any color they wish)
    - Motor-sport embossed door handles ('93 only)
    - M tri colored stitching on steering wheel. ('93 only)
    - It will come with M Parallel wheels not the AlPINA's

Wow - very gorgeous car! You're correct about the green exterior, I've never seen a E34 M5 in that shade. It may not be everyones' cup of tea, but personally I like it a lot. Best of luck with the sale.

    Jon

    P.S. You offer a layaway financing? :-P

Looks like a nice car man. That's a good price for that kind of mileage. The MY93 cars were definitely some of the most desirable E34 M5's in the US. I forgot about the steering wheel with the ///M stitching, I believe it also has thumb notches as well, which not all E34 M5's have.

Lagungrün was actually available on eight MY93 US M5's, according to this site, but who's counting. That is still in very good shape and being sold for a reasonable price.

To give potential buyers an idea, my father bought a '91 for a similar price and later had to have the engine rebuilt (~$15k), so if this is a solid, zero issue E34 M5, it is a fantastic deal.

I looked at 5 M5's before buying this one. It is in absolute mint shape. The motor has had no expense spared.

Looks good. Did MY93 US M5's come with Shadowline or did you do that yourself?

The exclusivity of being 1 of 8 in the country should make this car a fairly easy sell, I recommend posting it up on M5Board.com.

                        Alex...

                        ...you have PM and email...

By the way you were absolutely right about the tires... I was totally mistaken.

The ones I was referring to (from Germany) were called Rhine Behren Koln(RBKs)...

Hence I confused them with "Rikens"... doh !!!

The shadowline is factory on the 93's and there is a serious list of 5 buyers knocking down my door. So selling it is not the issue (CAN I part with it is)

Actual number of Laguna Green imported North America is 11 (3- 1991 individual cars), only 8 were 1993 Models, so this is one of 8 in US, Nonetheless, extremely rare car...

Jack you should buy this so you park next to my 1994 Laguna Green Euro M5 3.8 Touring...

                            Cheers,
