    325is Parts or Fixer

Black on black, 5-speed manual, no rust (desert car), all OEM. There are probably a couple of chips in the paint and I know that the end section of the rain gutter that wraps around the rear window is missing on the driver side. I'll give it a once over and take some pics tonight.

It's a 1990 325is. I stopped working on it because I no longer had the time to spend on it, and bought another German "certified preowned" with a warrantee. It has been sitting for a couple years (yes, with gas in it). It's got 192K miles (edited) and in fairly good shape, inside and out, including the leather.

This is not a running vehicle. I replaced the head due to overheating and never got it started. It's electrical, and the local BMW guy said he'd get it started and drive it off, but he's never followed through after a number of conversations.

The current "project car" is a '78 Westfalia and I need to swap transmissions and the BMW in the garage is now officially in the way. The first grand will take it, or at least give me a good story why you deserve it for less! I'd like to see it out of here by this weekend.

I live in the Coachella Valley (five miles from the festival) in La Quinta, CA. I will not part this out and you must provide towing.

I wish I lived closer. I'd likely make an offer on it and at the very least come check it out. It looks really nice and you gotta love those cat paw tracks ;)

Have you put it up on Craigslist?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

If it ran I'd fly to CA right now and drive it back. I can't find 89+ 325is cars up here that aren't automatics, not WA, not ID, not OR, nothing.

I'm from Palm Springs. I may be sending someone your way. My brother may be looking for an e30. I think this is a good candidate. I will PM with intentions of inspection on Sunday.

If I were even within 500 miles of you that car would be mine in a heartbeat.

OP, why the hell don't you fix it? There is nothing in a stock E30 that can't be fixed easily.

A good bath, a coat of wax, get it running, and wait for the right person to buy it...KA-CHING!

                      Closing SOON!
