I have finally decided to let my car go....
the good:
- 1988 325is balck on black leather (sport seats)
- second owner purchased the car in 1997 from the original owner
- currently has 98k km on motor and a little over 300k on the body, just passed aircare on saturday with flying colors
- no major accidents (clean original paint on 90% of the panels)
mods:
- bilstien sports with coilovers all around
- replaced all tie rods, control arms, control arm bushings (eurathane)
- adjustable camber plates
- z3 short shift (have all the bushings to make it slop free - not installed)
- CAI with heat shield
- Remus exhaust
- 17"x8" ET20 Team Dynamics Rim 2000 wheels (polished lip w/ anthracite centres)
- brand new Pirelli Pzero Nero 215/40/17 tires
- Euro Grilles
- PIAA dicron yellow foglight bulbs
- Kenwood Exceleon HU
- Momo Steering wheel
- Momo shift knob
the bad:
- steering rack is slowly leaking (for the past while i have been running it without power steering and it seems fine)
- clutch bearing is getting noisy (shifts fine just rattles at idle)
- fuel pump might be showing signs of going soon (started to whine this weekend)
Other than that i think everything else is fairly well sorted, i have a few leads to some steering racks in the US and could either purchase or help the new owner get a rack if they like or they can take the car as is and maybe even put in an e36 rack with a lower lock to lock ratio.
At the moment i would like $6500 for the car with the wheels and would be willing to let it go for $5500 without the rims, also have a whole wack of original parts from the original basketweaves, air intake, head unit, extra oil pan, valve cover...
