Some of you may have happened upon this project of mine on bimmerforums.

The Details of the build are:

1991 318i
150k on chasis
M50 Swapped (68k on motor and tranny)
3.23 LSD from M Roadster with 50k on it and large finned diff cover
K+N Cone with heat shield
TMS Underdrive pulleys
Conforti Chip (not yet purchased)
Ansa Sport Exhaust (E30) (not yet purchased)
Custom Cat from M50 Manifold to Ansa Center (not purchased)
Mtech II Steering Wheel
One Piece Shift Knob/Boot
Z3 1.9 Short throw
CD43 Radio (new)
New Rear carpet (from Ger.)
New wiper arms front and rear
New misc tailgate pieces (I list because these were hard to track down)
New Interior (Black Leatherette SPORT)
Has Alpina Kopis on it with new Conti Extreme Contacts - planned on replacing with real alpinas
Bilstein Sports
Bav Custom Springs - to be ditched for H+R's (not yet purchased)
Suspension Techniques front sway
Tons of new maintenance items (i.e. rear subframe bushings)
Mtech II FULL OE BODY KIT - NEW (except pods and skirts) with ALL hardware and Jigs...
New Sunroof panel (used)
New Front Doors (used)
11.5lb UUC flywheel with M5 clutch

The bodywork to be completed: Full respray. Body kit. Some rust in 'normal' E30 sports that the Mtech II covers. Will be de-rusting before covering. Professionally done was the plan.

I'm into this car for $19k (I have a detailed spreadsheet). I was offering $15k with ALL parts. I'm willing to entertain offers for a quick sale.

The bodywork needs to be done, suspension, some wiring for the M50 swap (but it is done), and exhaust. Interior is in process and easy to put in.

You are wrong, he is an enthusiast, that alone adds 30 percent premium above whatever you think its worth.

If he has a current and valid title in whatever state he is in, you shouldn't need fed papers. Your state should accept his title. If he has title from Canada or GB, well, that could be a problem.

I have spent 19k... I have not asked for 19k...

Car is registererd in NH, inspected in NH, and insured by Allstate. NH WILL NOT issue title on a car over 15 years old...

I brought my E21 to register a month ago with MA title and they handed the title back to me. My iX that I bought down the street from me also has no title because (and I repeat) NH WILL NOT ISSUE TITLE ON CARS 15 years old.

Most states will require a bill of sale and a copy of my registration.

It was a copy/paste from a previous e-mail - showing the intentions with the project. I'm pulling the car back from the bodyshop and going to finish all mechanical work in the next week or two... Then try another bodyshop unless someone purchases it from me.

I was looking to get $10-$12k as is with all parts I purchased + the completed interior. Alex's car is a great deal at $12k for sure, but I don't think you get a MINT or new Mtech II with his car... If I finish I'll be looking for $15-$20k for a car that will pretty much be showroom clean. Wasn't planning on selling thus the $25k invested is far more than what I'll get in this market.

See above about NH and its titling issues (or lack thereof).
