Very nice. I'd be wary of the seller though. The listing has several mistakes, including automatic, leather and dual airbags. He also has exactly 2 feedback. I suppose though, if I were nearby and had the bucks, I'd sure take a look!

selling a car like that dont you think the seller would list a bit about it? has to be a scam.
didnt e30 Alpinas have 260kmh on the dash, and it has KOPIs on it.-- still a really nice car.

something doesn't seem quite right. What's with the Kopi wheels? And zero description? Proceed with caution....

              This car again...

old links about the same car:

I think I remember the dealership (Goodwin Automotive) guys name being Gary so that could be him. He had said he was "sick of the tire kickers" telling him that is wasn't a real Alpina and low balling him. Could be why he has a lack of info or it could be a scammer ripped off his pics. When it was on their lot they had a price of $17,000 on it. I couldn't get him to do an even trade on my 337 for it so I am not sure how much he'll really let it go for and I am glad he didn't take me up on my offer now.

                            the alpina

i read a really long thread about this car a couple of weeks ago from 2006. i am pretty sure it was this web site but could have been bimmerforums. if you are interested, do a search. it is an interesting read. looks like the car doesn't have the a/c vent gauge set and the seats look to be bullshit too. i am pretty sure that is alpina cloth that you can buy on ebay with a cheap jacket patch in the middle of the seat back. if i were to guess, i would say that it is probably an original alpina because the engine and the data plate on the radiator support would be hard to fake. it just looks like at some point in its life someone stripped off most of the alpina parts. some douchebag (likely the seller) added some fake parts to make it look kind of original in order to bump up the sales price. in fact i don't even think the alpina dash plaque is present either. There is no way in my opinion that this example is worth 17,000. i am no expert, but i would think the value is less than 10,000. i saw the bid was over that already. i am interested in the car for the right price. i sent the seller an email inquiring about its inconsistincies, but imagine that...didn't get even an inkling of a response. I can't help but get the feeling that the seller is only selectivly honest. i would say the new owner is going to be rather dissapointed and very pissed.

When I sat in it at Goodwin it had the gauge in the AC vent. that being said I agree that sub 10K would be the "right" price for me. I know that the dealership doesn't want to let it go for that little though. I think they got took on a trade for it and still want to get back that loss.
