Tourings are great space to haul and still look very sharp whether it be a E34 or E30 and now E39 are becoming immensely popular due to buy in factor being cheap.

As awesome as 325iT is, and as much as I'll always want one, I'll never understand this:

$7k for non-running 325iT

or

$4k for a running 525iT

What's up with that?

im with him, i can see a well maintained rust free iT going for that much, but only with an engine, thats kind of a ridiculous price for a car missing the most important part! in the aircraft buissness a plane with no engine is worth at or less than half the normal average asking price, shouldent it be the same for cars?

Being that no e30 iTs were ever officially imported it makes them kind of rare. Rarity = value. In the 4000 dollar range you would be buying an e34 Touring or possibly an early e39 525iT and these are not rare in this country hence the price difference.
