Exterior:
The exterior of this car cleans up quite nicely. It is a 19 year old car and does show some flaws. Ever since I purchased the car, it has always had a strange clearcoat issue on the rear quarter panels and the top of the rear bumper. In certain light you can’t even tell it has any issues, but in others you can see it quite well. The car has a few scratches and such around the car, but nothing that makes it out to be an eyesore. There are some rust bubbles on the sunroof. The car use to have a carbon fiber sunroof. The seals fit poorly and it leaked like crazy so the OEM panel that had been stored in the basement for years was put back in. It still shows lots of gloss and depth, but does have a few small rust bubbles on it. It also shows a few very very very small rust areas. One is in the door jamb, and another on one side of the rain gutters. Other than the issues I have stated the car looks great for its age. Turns lots of heads and gets a ton of attention from all crowds.
Interior:
Interior is easily a 9.5 out of 10. The seats look absolutely gorgeous in the car. The Cardinal with black looks great. Very nice color combination with the silver exterior. The dash is flawless as are the center consoles. The door panels have been dyed to black and look great. The only complaint with this is that dust and such gets stuck to the cloth centers very easily and make it look dirty. I had thought about putting the regular E30 stitched panels in but I never got around to it. The headliner looks great.
Engine/Mechanical:
The car is a wonderful driver. Just about anything you can think of has been done to the car. Always maintained properly and always loved. The motor pulls very hard and tranny shifts great. The car use to be an automatic but the PO had done a manual swap. Everything works as if it had been a factory 5-speed car. The cars ride is a great combination between street and and track feel. Its not too rough, but tight enough to handle very well. The car feels absolutely perfect in the corners. The car now has a 3.73 rear end currently. I was wanting to go back to a 4.10 but I never got around to it. The 4.10 gave the car a little more low end grunt. Overall the car is a perfect for daily driving or a great weekend car. The clean E30s are getting hard to come by nowadays. This is a beautiful and classy E30 with a great history. PM or Email me for all questions.
