    Relisting my white 91 381is w/sunroof - $2,500 or best offer

Relisting my white 1991 BMW 318is. $2,500 or best offer.
Must be a SF Bay Area local buyer. Please call 408 429-9717, leave a message and your phone number. Thanks.

Runs good except for a cooling system/radiator issue. Car temp. is fine while driving, however when stopped at a stop light the temp. starts to raise. When moving on a green light the temp. comes back down to normal. Sometimes some water will drip out from under the left (drivers) side around/near the radiator. I don't know what the issue is, that's why I'm selling it.

    Miles: 240,000.

Below are maintenance I've done over the last eight years as it has been very dependable and my daily driver.

Tires still have good tread left.

    10/08
Replaced front brake rotors and pads, and replace left rear wheel bearing.
    Checked cooling system-
Coolant was low, at the bottom of the reservoir
Pressure tested and found no leaks, although cap did look to be old and leaking
After topping off coolant, test drove and coolant gauge would never go above half
    Checked fan clutch, good
Checked thermostat via radiator hoses, good
Hoses and belts all looked good
Recommend new cap and coolant flush

    10/08
    New battery

    10/06
    Fan Clutch
    Thermostat
    Belts
    All replaced

    10/05
Changed Trans and Diff oil with Redline Oil

    11/04
    Front end alignment

    9/03
    Hose lower right
    Hose Upper
    Thermostat replaced

    2/02
Left and right control arms replaced
    Replaced O2 sensor

    8/01
    Fuel pump replaced

    3/2000
    Rebuilt head & gasket
    Oil
    Coolant
    Timing Chain
    Upper Rail
    Tensioner Rail
    Tensioner
    Lower Gasket set
    Chain Rail
    Diff Oil
    Trans Oil

    2/2000
Replaced Water pump and Fan Belts

I uploaded all the pictures I took a couple days ago.

I had the same problem. Was probably the built in coolant resevoir. I replaced my whole radiator and fixed the issue.
Renting my rear wheel bearing tool kit. SIR

Here are a couple picks of where the water drips out. Near/under the lower hose there.

Did you ever replace the radiator? Looks like it's just leaking out of the bottom of the built-in reservoir.
