I have a 1990 325i Convertible with removable hardtop and softtop in Carrollton, Texas.
In the past six months I've replaced:
    Armrests
    Battery
    Belts
    Clutch Plate
    Door latch Trim
    Driver Door Lock
    Exhaust
    Fog lights
    Fuse Cover
    Glove Box & latch
    Hood weatherstrip
    Hoses
    Motor mounts
    Oil / filter change
    Radiator
    Slave Cylinder
    R12 added to A/C
    Rear Seat (top & bottom)
    Rear Window weather strips
    Shifter Leather Boot
    Thermostat
    Timing belt
    Tires & wheels (basketweaves)
    Transmission external output flange
    Trunk Strut (lift Support)
    Trunk weatherstrip
    Water pump
    Window Switches

Repairs done by BMW Tech Philip Tripp - Bimmer Mobile Specialist (12 yrs @ BMW of Dallas)
Heated seats & all electrical works but heater fan squeals.
    A/C blows cold.
Engine & transmission are strong... runs great.

Auxiliary fan only runs on high speed. Needs to be replaced or check wiring.
Cluster lights do not work (behind speedometer, temp guage, & tachometer)
Front right brake drum needs replacement & pads. Have the drum to put on but have not bought pads.

I've turned down offers of $1200 and $1500 for the removable hardtop as it makes the car much quieter and more unique. I've been considering a trade for a Black 1990 325is or sell for $4000. I've had quad bypass and have a tough time removing the hardtop. I miss having a moonroof.
