1985 325e For Sale in Fort Lauderdale Florida
This is a really fun car to drive and has been a long term project with countless hours of work and too much money invested! Sadly, I don't have room for it any longer. Lots of time went into the planning to create what I think is one of the most successful e30 Form Small Block swaps. It retains power steering and air conditioning!
The engine is a stock 302 with Edlebrock aluminum heads, roller rockers and a genuine OEM 93 Cobra intake. Engine management is Megasquirt2 and has a wideband o2 with self-learning fuel trim and wifi logging/tuning. Tons of custom work into the exhaust (stainless) and a/c lines. Hydraulic clutch conversion and garagistic brake booster delete with Wilwood pedals and cylinders. Ford T5 transmission with short throw shifter. LSD.
I spent $3000 with StichedWheels recovering the interior in black leather, contrast stitching and customer tweed inserts. Seats, Mtech wheel, shifter boots and door panels all match and are beautiful.
The cassis is solid and in fair condition. The paint is shot and the edges have been burned by detailers. I cut out rust in the floor pan and bonded patch panels.
The suspension needs work. The stock brakes need to be upgraded and the bearings need to be replaced.
The oil pan should also be reworked to increased clearance as it's leaking from rubbing.
Not sure if the car will bring enough to make getting rid of it worthwhile but I would like to see $8500. I'll post up some more pictures as soon as I can.
