So you're looking for a period correct radio, and hopefully the wiring wasn't ruined in your new car by the previous owner. Well take a look at this time capsule!
It worked perfectly fine when I pulled it. In fact, I kinda wish I could reinstall it because my new one kinda sucks. I should install an amp and sub in mine to even out the sound. But whatever.
The lights work, buttons work, the volume knob spins nicely with the little clicks it's suppose to have... and cosmetically it's pretty good. Clean, not faded or missing letters. The little red blinking light works fine too. Plus it comes with the security code! How OG is that?
This should be installed into a car with the factory amp in the trunk, unless you know what you're doing and can figure out another way to wire this. I'm not an expert whether this will fit in any particular car, other than it came out of my '87is.
What you see is what you get. So come get this rad little radio!
