I'm interested in the wiper stalk. I'm assuming it's for the air bag model since you mentioned the parts came off a 90. I have no idea what the difference is, but Real OEM is stating there is a specific version for the air bag models.

Anyways, I'm hoping this solves the issue I have turning on the wipers. I usually have to jiggle the switch a few times until they activate. However, I'm also wondering if my wiper relay is to blame. The other issue I have is that the windshield washers won't work.

                laidback93,
The 90 325 did not have an airbag in the steering wheel when I bought it in 2015. Stalk was fully functional when removed. Unfortunately there are no part numbers on it, which I find unusual. It does have BMW stamped on it.
On the wiring there is tape with 1377968.4, so I’m guessing it’s 61.31.1.377.968 Click image for larger version

1990 model year was a transition year for airbags in coupes and sedans. Cars with early and mid-'89 production dates came without airbags, those with late '89 and '90 production dates had airbags. If your car didn't have an airbag when you bought it, there is still a fairly easy way to determine what it had.

Airbag steering wheel is axially taller than non-airbag, so to maintain proper distance between the rim and levers, levers had a more pronounced 'S' shape. If one swaps out an airbag wheel for non-airbag, then the levers become too close to the rim, uncomfortably so for others. The proper gap is over an inch, if I recall correctly. So if you had a factory non-airbag wheel, and your weren't hitting the levels while steering, then it's most likely that you have non-airbag levers as well.

Your p/n doesn't match either for part 1 below, but the above observation should be pretty definitive.

This is my collection of parts for the heaters minus the strips. I will send the whole package to you for $50 plus shipping. I will include the wiring with strips just so you can remove what you want. (Last pic)

Thanks for the pictures. I'm not sure if I'm seeing it, but is there the connector that plugs into C302?
