Up for sale is a new Continental TRD7412UB-OR head unit. I had purchased this last year when I thought that my current Bluetooth radio was dying, but it turned out to be a grounding issue. This radio has been used by several E30 folks since it looks fairly boring/OEM, and it has all of the modern bells and whistles that most people want.
The highlights are:
- Bluetooth calls and audio
- Integrated microphone in faceplate
- Extra small form factor: You won't have to smash the wire harness back in behind this thing!
- No cutting/chopping of the HVAC panel needed
The head unit was opened up once back when I got it since I was looking into changing around the LED backlighting, but I did not touch anything. So, the warranty label is broken, but this thing is probably out of warranty anyway.

Another member here had an install thread: https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...b-or-head-unit
A different user did some mods to make the backlighting match more perfectly. You could DIY this if you wanted: https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...12#post9950812
The radio does not include the wiring harness. You can get the needed pigtail adapter for $10: https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...a-71-1784.html
Price is $125 shipped within the continental US, Paypal only.
