Original BMW M20 2.5l engine from a 1987 325is. We bought the car with around 175000 original miles and the engine ran pretty good for a while...after 3 time trial events we had it refreshed including rocker arm update by Valley Motorwerks/ Kontrolle Engineering in Rancho Cordova CA (receipt over 4k available in my name). It ran great but compression went down again after one time trial event so it will most likely need a bottom end rebuild as well. We are building the car for unlimited class and will do an engine swap with a different motor so we don't need the M20 anymore. We will pull the engine within the next weeks so it will be available for pickup soon however if you're able to pull yourself (most is done just get it off mounts and transmission) we can consider this and we can help as well...serious and realistic offers only please...
