so how many is left and what versions are left?

3 version 2 and 2 version 1 are left all have no 12v socket but are pre-drilled to accept one capped sockets are available at Kragen O'reilly stores and other parts places.

fabric would need to be cut in order to expose opening for socket. If you don't want one you can use it without.

You can also pop out your oem socket and leave it under the holder and route the accessory plug around the side of the holder.

Got mine today at least a week ahead of what I expected. Unfortunately, for me it arrived one day too late.

For your amusement: Was doused with coffee this am as I pulled right into a parking place at my first appointment. Travel cup, which usualy stays put on the center console, slid left, hit the handbrake, and launched coffee from my knee to my backside as it ran to the back of the seat.

When I got home, I found the postman had brought my salvation. Never again will I have to clean up a spill from the morning commute. This cupholder snugs right into the center console like it was built there. BMW could not have done it better.
