I had a few emails but no bites on the last 3 so I'll wait until the end of this week before I post it on ebay.

Not sure if I'll be making more due to my schedule I might not have enough time. All the ones that sold and paid for will be going out Monday. so anyone who buys the remaining 3 will go out with that batch if payment is received by Sunday.

Question: Can we use our stock cig lighters instead of buying new ones from an auto parts store? If we did that there's no wiring to be done right since everything should already be connected? Just take the old one out and slip it into the hole you made in the cup holders? Just wondering if there was any fitment/wiring issues...

Due to the design of the stock outlet there's no way to mount it as it locks into the ashtray assembly from underneath.

What you can do though is pop it out and leave it under the cup holder and route whatever accessory cord is plugged into it around the backside of the holder since there's tons of room in behind the cup holder. I did that on mine after I mounted a bluetooth display where the socket used to be.

Since I've been getting many request for the 12v plug I've gone ahead and ordered the part. To have that option it's an additional $7. It will go between the two cup holders on the top either on the back or front. Location depends on whether the socket will clear the console on the backside. I want to install it where you don't have to modify the console.

For those who have already paid you can send another paypal payment for that option but I will be contacting those who paid before I send them out.

Can we still pay for this option? I dont trust myself making the plug myself. Of course it won't kill me either and i completely understand that it'll just hold up the orders.

This is no longer an available option as my supplier has run out of the the plugs I used. They are available at kragen and autozone stores they are located in the fuse/ bulb aisle and are universal 12v sockets with the cap. Due to my schedule I have limited time to run and get them since the stores only carry a couple and I'd need to go to a few stores to get enough.

I've pre-drilled the cup holders all you'd need to do is trim away the fabric with an xcato knife to expose the opening and insert the socket.

Finally done wrapping, installing the inserts and test fitting all the cup holders.



Hopefully I can get them all out tomorrow before I go to a wedding if not they will go out monday afternoon.

I've received emails asking if I will be making anymore. I may make another batch with a max qty of 5 next weekend if there's enough interest. it would be another prepaid order. My schedule is going to be crazy after next week so those would probably be the last I make for a long time
