i like my mud flaps goes really well with the bronze wheels. they came on my car and i've thought about takin them off but never have. btw with IE3's they scrape on EVERYTHING.

I think they only made flaps for early models?

I put a new set on my '90 just before I sold it and fresh out of the package the instructions were for both the old and new cars (except the iX). The installation for the older cars required a few extra nuts and bolts but they were supplied in the package. These were original BMW parts.

I'm thinking of them like snow tires for the Pacific Northwest. Put 'em on in November so I don't have what looks like a rooster tail spray of detritus halfway up my doors all winter. Maybe they come off in the summer, or maybe I just come to love the oldschool vibe...
