Cabrio Hardtop on a Toronto Copart car...

I'd jump through hoops for a hardtop, always searching and spotted this one. Which of course I can't swing, being in California. Someone could do well by snagging this e30 and parting it out.

    Lot # 17437889

    It's an 89 w/front damage.

I thought it was common knowledge, we are crazy out here, no??

Mainly, too much rain during the winter months, and after throwing a few $600 BMW zip in windows at a cabrio, running topless in the summer and hardtop in the winter is appealing. Then there are the winter trips to Lake Tahoe...

      ;)

Well now I would call it having your cake and eating it. Vert or Hard Top any time you choose in one car how nice!

                    Karma?

So I post this message about the hardtop in Canada, hopefully someone takes advantage of it, anyway, gotta love the Karma. Just got home from picking up one that subsequently fell into my lap.

I'm now the proud owner of a nice e30 convertible hardtop, paid $800. :)

that's a good price of the seals are good and the headliner is not sagging, now go paint that hard top in matching color and make it pretty :D

My vert is Delphin. Anyone seen a hardtop painted in matching delphin-body color? I'm not sure on that mod, black seems to be the right choice and to change from black cloth to black paint...

                          Pictures anyone?

sorry to hijack this, but i have been searching a while in a few places and i cant find answers. i paid too much for a hardtop and the headliner is sagging. not i want to re-glue the horizontal surface to fix it for the winter. the only problem is that i cant find a good diagram of how it is put together. anyone know how to take the fabric apart?
