not that i am aware of. it is a mix of R12 and R-134a.
it was the janky r12 comming out of mexico that had propane in it.

I've used the Propane-Isobutane stuff with good results. It's not explosive.. it's flammable.

Just like all the other flammable stuff in your car.

No this is the safest substitute to actual R12.
