Holy crap, I want this. What all is needed to pop it into the car for water tightness etc? I'm not concerned with it opening, just being sealed up good and tight. If it's drop in, lets talk.
    Need a part? PM me.

Not 100% sure, but I think the sunroof seal is there to keep water from flooding in, but it's by no means a perfect seal - that's what the 4 drains are there for. I'd guess the old seal will work on the glass roof? You should just need to align it correctly then (or do what I do, and use the switch to get the sunroof in the correct position every time you open / close it...)

Yeah, I've got a new Sunroof seal/gasket on my current sunroof (standard) but honestly, the fit is so tight I never open the damn thing. The glass sunroof would be awesome to have though. My main concern is the hardware that's on the car not working for the glass roof and having to buy other bits and pieces to put it in.

You've still got this? Crazy! Someone quick, before my wife decides she'd be better off with a less impulsive husband.

This is basically a direct replacement for the factory one? Is there a weight difference? Are the rails different on glass tops in order to get it to open/close or is it the same as the metal one?

                  any pics installed?

                  I need this.

This is a great deal! What a bunch of cheap asses we are here.

Use the sliding panel from a Saab. You should be able to cut it down in size and convert the panel to make it work. The Saab glass roofs are everywhere. It's the one people use in the BMW E28 cars.
