A crap load of e30 m3 parts

I just purchased a wrecked e30 m3 for the purpose of making an m3 out of my vert. as a result, the rest of the parts i don't intend to use are for sale. i have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many parts cars now days. the back yard of one of my rentals is full.


edit about the only large items i have left are the doors, windshield, and interior cards. still a lot of little parts for sale















the parts listed below are were not included with the car when i received it:

radiator
engine
transmission,
drive shaft,
rear differential,
rear axles,
5 lug suspension.
rear seat.

the parts listed below are what i intend to keep for purposes of my project:

front fenders
front bumper assy.
side skirts
extra set of quarter panels
rear bumper
on the fence about the master cylinder
shift boot
parking brake boot

Parts that i do have but are sold to other members of this forum.

rear sail panel assembly/back window, head liner, rear pillar covers package shelf, and third brake light-sold to jordan
shadow line trim-sold to turf1600
rear speakers, visors, and check panel sold.
antenna and rear windows sold
rear sway sold
steering rack sold
cluster sold
seats and heater harness sold

I don't know all the prices for parts on this car. if you see something in the photos you are interested in that isn't mentioned above let me know with an offer. if i think it is reasonable, you will be a proud owner of a new part. if not, i will let you know. i'm not looking to get rich. i just want to recoup some of the cost of the car.


since someone already took the suspension parts off, i assume the steering rack isn't m3 either. i checked it this morning before i left on my trip. it is a little over 3 turns lock to lock seems to be in good shape with no leaks.

mtech one steering wheel. obviously need recovering. i actually have 3 of these. i measured it this morning. i can't remember if it was 15 or 15.5 inches



bonded front windshield. just dirty. no cracks. just a small chip as pictured below. it is pretty close to the middle of the window about 9 inches up from the lower edge. for obvious reasons, no shipping on this. you pull it yourself.



m3 doors. there is a small ding in the driver door as pictured. very easy fix. these doors are clean and rust free. 150.00 for the driver and 175.00 for the passenger

i have never seen one before, but i am pretty sure that is the factory m3 antenna

That looks like an E30 M3 rack. If memory serves, the body of the rack is different than the normal e30 rack. (I've got an E30 M3 rack on my IS).....

If the steering rack is not showing any signs of leakage, how much shipped to 37042? Also, how much for just the package tray with no speakers? Want to eliminate the third brake light because my spoiler has one. Thanks.

If the rack is a little over 3 turns, it's an M3 rack. E30 non-M racks are 4 turns lock to lock, E30 M racks are 3.5.

That MT1 wheel is the larger diameter (385mm IIRC), you can tell by the "spacers" between the wheel grip and the left and right horn pads. The small diameter wheels do not have those.

the consensus is that it is indeed an m3 rack. i was looking pretty closely at the bolts that hold it to the cross member. they look undisturbed. i don't see any leaks. i am pretty sure it doesn't leak. i think there may be a good chance i have a second m3 rack on an e parts car. i spun the wheel on the m3 from lock to lock and it was a little over 3(3.5ish turns). i went over to the souped up eta i also have in the yard and spun it from lock to lock and it was also about 3 to 3 1/2 turns. that is what made me think the part in the photo above wasn't stock m3. i then went over to one of my ix's and spun it around from lock to lock and it was just under 4 turns. so anyway, here is the deal. looks like i have two, i don't mind shipping but i need a piece of crap rack to replace these so i can move these cars around in the yard. for this reason, i guess a local sale would be better. i am thinking 165.00 for the one in the m3 with a core. the other one in the e, i will have to take a good look at it to see if it appears to leak.

the carpet in m3s is gray oddly enough. its dirty but i didn't look at it closely enough to see how good of condition it is. its yours if you want it. i will sell it to you cheap since i wouldn't have to ship!
