well, i'll do my best. usually the suspension develops a mild coat of surface rust on most any vehicle of that age.

the cardinal front heated seats are in good shape. the driver seat will need the leather on the upper bolster next to the door fixed. however, they are pending sale to another member. if for some reason it doesn't work out, i will let you know.

the build date is 3/87. some members on this forum say this was the 7th m3 off the assembly line. it is going to breathe new life as a drop top.

the previous owner said it does. i can stick it in one of my cars and try it out before it gets shipped. i have extra SI boards laying around. since it is a vdo cluster, the odo gears are more than likely fine, but i would check them out for a potential buyer to be sure. i have the technology to take an e30 cluster apart and do just about anything to it. if someone doesn't like the mileage reading on the odo, you could easily disassemble it and set it to match the reading in your car.

i agree that the price isn't cheap. as a hobby, i like watching these sell on egay on the rare occasion they are posted there. all of the working ones i have seen sell for more than i am asking for this one. i actually own an e30 cluster that is rarer than this. i have a factory euro alpina e30 cluster laying around that i likely will never use. that one is so rare that there isn't even a pricing precedent here in the usa for it.

looks like the front heated cardinal seats are not pending any longer and are back for sale. they are in pretty nice shape. the driver side upper bolster will need to be replaced, but otherwise, they are nice. they will come with the heated switches and harness for 275.00

also, the red door cards are in great shape for 125.00.

i don't have good photos today because i am in in mexico. i will be back tomorrow and i will shoot a few then.
