    Powdercoated valve covers and manifolds

Thought I would feel you guys out for some powder coated valve covers and/or manifolds.

Here are some pics of matte black...

    and some other colors.

    Florescent green...

    Candy translucent blue...

    Black chrome...

    Gloss red...

    Gloss black...

    "Chrome"...

Other colors available, but there may be an extra charge because of minimum purchase through my vendor.

$75 plus shipping for the valve covers, $130 plus shipping for the manifolds (can work with the price if you send a core).

Currently have bare: 1 "eta" valve cover, 2 "i" valve covers and one "i" manifold.

    Thanks for looking,

    -John

Well I thought I blew the HG in my car, but turned out it was OK, so I am in the process of doing the 885 head and Motronic 1.3 swap. Since it came apart, I will be using a mani and cover out of this batch, but let me know if you guys want something :D The local yard has a bunch of them...

They are plastic as I recall, but if it can take 375 degrees, it can be done. Just won't be able to polish the raised letters like on aluminum parts

i'm curious, as i do a lot of powdercoating at my workshop...
from my understanding, the item to be powdercoated needs to be conductive, so as to allow the powder to stick to it, once charged...

            no?

if i can powdercoat plastic, PLEASE fill me in!! id be stoked to know how.

If I told, you I would have to kill you lol. J/K. Before they had these cool powder coating guns, how do you think they did it? Well, they would have a conveyor that ran the parts through an oven, then take those parts and dip them in a container that was blowing the powder around - as soon as the powder hit the hot surface, it would stick, then they would put them back in the oven to cure. Plastic is the same way, heat the part, spray it, then cure it ;)

Is it just the "BMW" part that's plastic, meaning the coil pack covers?

Yes, though, we can do pink.
