Hey guys I picked up a wrecked Z3 subframe so now I have the dimensions to convert stock e30 subframe into 318it and Z3 subframes. M3 subframes are also in the works.

Any thoughts of switching to the new posi-lock style rear adjuster?

I have never personally gotten a complaint about suspension setting moving with the eccentric style setup. The main advantage I see is the ability to change suspension settings at the track but who actually does that on a E30? There is more adjustment too but I dont think its good to mis-align the control arm bushings more than the eccentric hardware allows. If somebody wants the posi lock style they can buy it off Ireland and Ill be glad to weld it up for them. If anybody does have an issue please send me a PM.

Ok all subframes shipped all PMs responded. I have more subframes in the works, $275.00 shipped and $250.00 local pickup. I do give a core return for your old subframe and thats $60.00 shipped (includes return shipping) and $40.00 local exchange.

So this subframe comes with all the hardware you would get with the IE correction kit?

Do you sandblast the subframe to get surface rust off? What do you paint it with?

I bought a subframe from Marshall a year or two ago and wanted to share how my alignment came out.
I have 0 toe and camber was within factory specs, i need to check my alignment sheet again but I'm thinking camber was down to -0.5 at both corners. My star specs are wearing nice and even.

                  Thanks again Marshall.

Hey great to hear some feedback. If anybody ever has a issue I would love to know to make things better. As far as paint goes the factory paint usually holds up really well. BMW put it on thick. I will wire wheel any rust off and spray a full can of dupli-color semi-gloss.

Now what i want to know is how in the world to adjust the outer adjustment. It is next to impossible to get to with I.E. poly subframe bushings in there.

I took a stubby open end wrench and grinded down the sides a little bit.

Got another subframe available, $275.00 shipped $250.00 local pickup. I will have a M3 subframe to sell shortly as well for those of you with a lowered M3.
