6 speed sale (4 to choose)

    71K mile Euro 6 speed $1700
    65K mile Euro 6 speed $1900 (*)

    33K mile E46 6 speed SMG $1700
    31K mile E46 6 speed $2000 (*)

Shipping will be local pickup for Chicago, or $125 on a mini-pallet to any address in the USA. If a lift-gate truck is required to move the pallet off a semi onto a smaller-local truck because you don't have a pair of strong guys available to lift it off a semi (or forklift/dock etc), it is an extra $75 for that lift-gate service.

(*) These gearboxes would be converted from SMG form to manual form. They are not available for near-immediate shipping, the labor has not been done yet. The term ex-SMG is the best way to describe an SMG gearbox that I've converted to be used as a manual. The idea would be that no one has missed a shift on these or abused them in anyway, they should hopefully be in excellent condition as a computer has been doing the shifting with rev-matching etc... not grinding the synchros.

Please PM me with any questions. I will not respond to this "for sale" post as if it were a thread designed to discuss any particular topic. If you want to discuss anything, criticize my pricing, or theory, or ask about how I do this or that, put it in a PM.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you have any used E46 M3 clutch assemblies? Sprung hub preferred, but OEM would work alright.

          RE: E46 M3 Clutch/Flywheel

          In fact I do.

Sitting in my garage is a bone stock flywheel and clutch and disk.

It came off a S54 Euro CSL engine that had unknown miles on it, and had been in a fire. There are a very few small spots of surface corrosion on it, but the flywheel is otherwise so clean you can see the brand new factory machine pattern on it. I wouldn't hesitate to re-use the whole assembly on any car, and was planning on using it at some point.

I don't own the tool that re-tracts the self adjusting portion though, and having just put one of those on my 540 MT, I wasn't in love with the technology. Seen the tool at the dealership, have not done a search for DIY on resetting one, might be easy, might be hard.

PM me if you want to buy part or parcel of this, and we can see. Have a new toy, I-phone, could shoot you pix this evening

Resetting the SAC is not that hard if you have a press and the flywheel is out of the car. You'll need the lock plate to keep it in place once you've reset it though...
