How are the struts in those seats?

Will they push you up like they are supposed to?

Levers, knobs, that stuff, what kind of shape is it in?

Do you have any detailed pics?

      Luke

Hi Luke, the drivers folds up halfway, but besides that everything else slides/folds/moves well. Passenger's side folds up all the way, slides, etc. Everything is in pretty good condition except the tear, and that it could be cleaned a little.

PM me what you'd like pics of and I can send them to you.

I figured they'd be hard to sell, but hey it's worth a try. I'm picking up an m3 rear seat this weekend so the backs will be for sale too soon.

m3 rear seat, sorry. I actually put the comfurts up on CL, I know they aren't exactly the cat's meow, but hopefully someone takes them. I now have 3 sets of interiors and only a little cash left to work with. Scored two front e30 m3 cabrio seats that are in pretty good condition, except the side on the drivers is torn and needs to be reupholstered. Figured I'd sell the comfurts, the panels and door cards and everything else from the black sports interior and comfurt interior, and hopefully have enough to get the one side reupholstered, although I really want to get them both completely reupholstered.

I have money to work with to finish ordering parts and stuff, but not nearly enough to pay $1,700 per seat to be redone.

1,700 is a rip off, you can buy those Recaros that were for sale on here for 1,500.

Are you in PA still? If so a friend of mine that does airplane seats would be able to do everything you need for a shit ton less. He has contracts with major airlines, so he knows his shit.

Yeah man, still in PA. I'm not sure if I should just get the side redone or both seats completely redone. I heard they aren't nearly as comfortable if they are reupholstered.. But beauty is a pain! How much would your friend reupholster for? I am in love with the seats, no questions asked. I just don't want to have a clean interior with a ripped up drivers seat. It's an OCD, everything has to be absolutely perfect. I'm probably too anal, but I can't help it, I've always been this way with everything.
