I'm not up to date on the M3 motors, but unless this is the euro motor with much higher WHP #s than you've posted, I believe your price is about $5k too high.

So do you mean someone is going to install it for the buyer?

If you're going to ask top dollar for something take a couple minutes to write a worthwhile for sale ad. Also when asking $9000 for something it's a good idea to list EVERYTHING included and post a pic or two.

Wut? The 3.2 euro motor had about 320bhp IIRC, which should translate to well over 250whp.. Do you have pics of all this stuff? That would help clear up a lot of this confusion..

                      US S50 = 240
US S52 = 240 but with more torque

                      Euro S50 B30 = 286 BHP
                      Euro S50 B32 = 321 BHP

My best run with Euro S50B32 on a Dyno Jet, was 286 WHP.

I think he is including the labor which is why the price is so high.

Should include the car as well, shouldn't cost $4k to install an engine.

I have a complete s52 that I swapped into a 95 m3 and did the whole obd1 conversion on it in order to work right in the older obd1 models. With the obd1 intake manifold and minus the rest of the obd2 emissions control garbage this really wakes up the s52 and brings it to life. It comes with a custom active autowerke chip custum tuned for this setup and works perfectly. The whole setup brings the estimated hp up in the 275 range (with proper intake and exhaust) which is up from the 240hp they come with stock. even more power can be extracted from this motor with additional parts/tuning. The car received regular motul synthetic oil changes and was working tip top up until the moment the car was wrecked.

I would prefer to sell everything complete, but I may consider parting it all out seperately. Asking $4000 or best offer for the complete setup from the serpentine belt with all the accessories on the front of the engine to guibo on the back of the trans, oil pan to the intake manifold and everything in between.

I also have a uuc lightweight flywheel with clutch master stage 2 clutch as well as the ZF 5 speed transmission, wire harness, ecu, etc. This would be the perfect setup for someone looking for an e30 swap or just an upgrade in another e36 model as its all together and ready to go and complete. no scrounging around for missing parts or unexpected expenses to complete it, its all here.

this is pretty much a direct swap into any model e36 (92-95 318,325,etc.) This is the s52 engine from the obd2 96-99 e36 M3 but retrofitted to work in older models(there have been several questions about this, apparently i wasnt clear enough) This will also work in an e30 but more parts/labor are required than what comes with this setup. although much of it is already done as a large part of that is getting all the obd1 stuff crossed over and a custom chip to run the s52 properly with all the obd1 parts back on it.

                              original cost for parts individualy

                              80k mi used s52 (1.5 years ago) $2800
                              uuc flywheel $600
clutch masters stage 2 clutch (less than 20k miles, mostly freeway) $550
cost of misc. parts/labor to convert to obd1 (not including installation) $1000
custom chip from active autowerke $350
                              $5300 total

cost of used obd1 parts and chip if purchasing seperately to convert an obd2 s52 ~ $1000
cost of used zf trans with shifter and linkeage $400-$500
                              m3 guibo $90

$6890 total to accumulate all the parts to do this swap
an awesome opportunity to do it right and by saving almost $3000!!

We can also provide the service of installation on just about any model bmw or anything else for that matter so feel free to inquire as to that cost/availability by email or phone.
Installation for this in an e36 would be about $1000 providing you have an intake and exhaust system that will bolt up and the rest of the vehicle is in suitable condition for the extra performance from this engine.
As I said previously, there are extra parts and labor to make this work in an e30 so it would cost quite a bit more. as to the many variables and available upgrades involded with installing this in an e30 there is a large variance from about $3000-$5000+

I am parting out this entire car so feel free to ask about any other parts you may need off it. Its a white 95 M3 coupe with black interior.

I also have another s52 long block thats all been refreshed $1950 (all new gaskets and seals, head removal with pressure check and surface, etc) 165k mi prior to refresh

I also have an s50 longblock thats been completely rebuilt $2150 (same as above but with new piston rings, rod bearings, and main bearings)
