well, i couldn't take the engine out because of my shoulder and this guy put a down payment on the engine and offered to take it out himself.

Then he offered to buy the rest of the car. So if you really were serious, you could have offered dp on the engine. A lot of people had said, okay, I want the engine or some part and said they will pick it up and turn out to be all flakes. This guys paypals me his downpayment so who do u think I would go for? Of course the one who offers me a convenient transaction and not lowball me as well.

I'm sorry if you thought I committed the engine to you. Commitment to me from a buyer is when I see "payment received" on my paypal.

an agreement was made on the price and i asked you for times that would be convenient for you so i could pick up the engine. i guess that isnt commitment enough?
lowball? you stated your price and i asked for a price that would reflect what others were asking for m20's in comparable condition. you agreed but then wanted me to pull the engine with my own cherry picker, so i offered less because it would require the use of my cherry picker and my time to remove the engine. explain how that is lowballing.
what does him living in san martin have anything to do with this?
