Yea, but the difference is it's a true coilover in the rear with less leverage since the spring isn't in the original location anymore?

How did you brace the shock towers and Rear TAs for the true coilover?

No need, in my opinion. I'm running the GAZ GHA street kit with true coils on the rear and have been doing so for about 6k miles. I drive the car hard and have had no issues. Just have the OEM rear shock reinforcement plates and am running JT rear shock mounts with no spherical bearings (though I should upgrade).

For those of you who like to go LOW, these things will get you there. They also ride great, and this coming from a guy who came from an 09 GTI with Koni coils.

Paid more than this for my lower level street coils, so this is a great deal. Bump for seller, he had a lot to do with my decision to buy these.

A way of bracing it if you dont have a cage re-enforcing that area is using a Mason Engineering rear brace. I believe it would shear more than mushroom.
