          Just a technical question...
          When bolting this "i" (885 casting) to an Eta motor the compression ration goes down? So to get full advantage of the higher better flowing head the ETA 2.7 block must be decked to bring the compression ration back up and get the extra horse power? Also a new tune must be applied because of the better flowing head correct?

            No, that is incorrect.

            Yes, you will lose .2 or .3 static compression ratio, but the extra 200cc easily makes up for it in cylinder filling, and decking the head would result in cam timing being retarded.

            An 885 with Motronic 1.3 on a sotoc ETA bottom end (with all M20B25 intake stuff) easily runs away from a stock M20B25, even on a completely stock tune.
