    Parting out 1990 silver 325i

Officially parting this car, starting tomorrow ;)

Plastic bumpers, valance and fogs are sold. The rest is up for grabs...I'm probably keeping the tranny. That's about all.

    89 325i
    Silver
    5-speed
    4 door
    Blue cloth interior
*think DanGillan's car, without the warped kopis, lip, or roll bar *

Car has 184k miles on it, one owner car, all windows work, it wasn't in an accident, manual sunroof works great, has factory tape deck, working power antenna, new wiper motor in 00, sealed beams, and very clean interior - no major rips or tears.

Would you be willing to cut the rear valence off?

      No, but you can ;)

Yeah. Give me a few bucks, you can have it. The unibody has rust in the quarters, so unless someone pipes up and says they have a use for the unibody, I can shop it.

it's almost impossible to remove them without destroying it. just buy a new one, they aren't exactly expensive.

can you get a pic of the radio? I'm looking for one with the touch slide for the treble/bass... Do you have the code for it?

It's pretty hard to get any real force behind some floss. When my brother recked his 325i(which had a new emblem), off it came and onto my car it went. I just used a small screw driver.

since beemerfanatik loves DIY, here's a quick tutorial. Get a hairdryer, turn it on and blast one side of the emblem for about 4-5 minutes. After it gets nice and hot, the adhesive behind the emblem should be hot and sticky, get the floss and slide it under the side that was blasted by the hair dryer. slide the floss back and forth until you reach some resistance, once you do, get the hair dryer and blast it once again. rinse and repeat as needed.
