depends which radio you have. I pulled my newer stock radio and everything was wired to a board that I was skeptical about pulling apart. But at the end of the day, with some time and patience it could be done. post pics here if you do it.

I haven't messed with that radio but have taken two other stock radios apart. The ones I did take apart, It didn't seem worth my time, not a whole lot of space in there.
