so seems like running a deep dish wheel would be perfect with your quick release hubs? like, it wouldnt set it too close to the driver

usually deep dish wheels are 3" deep. the hub and quick release combo from NRG stands at a total 4.25"(3"quick release/1.25"hub)

NRG hubs are 1.25" tall vs. Momo hubs which are standard height of ~ 3"

the quick release will bolt into a momo hub/nrg hub for e36 - I carry both. You will be able to retain horn use. If you run into issues, I have a link on how to correct them.
