im interested in an 885 head build for my eta. will they shave it a little bit to bump compression for us eta guys? id like the HD rockers and a 290 cam in it. id like a figure around 210-220 at the wheels.

We do not offer "extra shaving" on the cylinder heads. The reason being, we want you to be able to resurface your cylinder head in the future should it ever need to be done.

I would absolutely not recommend running that large of a cam. Something in the 274-280 range is the most you'll need with that engine combination.

To get that kind of power at the wheels you're going to need to build a 3.1L M20.

Ok, I'm ready. I'd like one 885 head with I.E. rockers and your opinion on cam choice. I daily drive this car and I want it to still be able to do that easily. I've heard that anything more than a 274 will be to racy for street use. Is this so? I want as much power as I can get of course, but i don't want to have to hit 7k all the time to feel it. I'll need it shipped, insured to 19720. How do you ship them? Crated or palletized, bubble wrapped ???? I'm also interested in the long tube Stahls mr 325 has listed if they are still available. Do they have the metal tag with the serial number on them. My brother has a set on his car and they are really sweet.

The 274 camshaft really is great for a daily driven car.

The cylinder heads are shipped via FedEx ground for a declared value of their sale price. Heads are packed with $20ish of bubble wrap along with a large amount of cardboard and a thick box. The price of shipping is included.

The Stahl headers are still available and yes they do have the tag on them.

I will reply to your PM in a few minutes, thanks!

alrighty then, a 274 it is. Once you have a shipping quote, let me know and you will receive payment. Paypal? Will you do $350 for the headers?
