A buddy of mine is opening a small fabrication shop and we were talking and we came up with the idea of selling a mid section that would bolt right up to a set of stock S52 headers but would also allow you to run a regular e30 catback setup, saving you money/having to learn how to weld. It would be possible to have the option if you want a cat aswell.
The cat offered will be a 50-state legal cat so you California guys can get in this.
I know people are very specific about how they like their exhausts, but do you think there would be interest in such product?
Would you prefer to have the exhaust mild steel or 304 stainless? Obviously mild steel will make a bit more affordable, and 304 stainless will be a bit more durable.
