the replies here speak the truth. all e30 hardtops are indeed the same whether m3 or not. there is only one rare exception: in europe, they made a hardtop with a factory sunroof.

the early convertibles did not come from the factory with receptacles for the hard top alignment pins. these can be taken off a later model car or (at one time) purchased from the dealer.

Well it was pending sale and upon arrival of the prospective buyers E30 we found that the top doesn't fit. It is about an inch to wide in the rear on either side. If anyone knows what it fits I would be extremely curious. I am trying to get my ex-girlfriend over to see if ti fits her E36.

Negative... She developed a "depression induced eating disorder". I call BS she just quit working out and started eating whatever when we split she now weights about 275 at 5'4". If ya'll are a forum I enjoy being on for a while, I may post pics of wife laying across the hood of one of our bimmers.

no my wife is about 5'5" 130ish. My ex got fat after we dated because I used to be fat, and when we were together I made her follow the same regiment I do because all she ever wanted to do was go out to fast food places. Now that we aren't I think that's all she ever eats, and she has to be almost dragged to the gym. when we were together she weighed about 140.
